Celtic Knot SG eat and shop and then rush back to office to take a look if i have dropped it there.. my colleagues did not see it leh..(heart missed another beat liao).
tare SG morn missy!!! i very long nvr eat sambal stingray also.... i dare not run the risk oooh my back is stil screwed... should i cont'd with chinese sinseh or go see a angmoh doc (i dun mean the race).... i only worry they give me muscle relaxer and pain killer nia
honeymouse SG My new PM and I have very little conversation with each other unless there are things I am not sure about. I just do my work and do what I am told that's all.
Rhonda SG You and Bear both have backaches... what's up with you two? Sympathy pains? And, what's the risk involved in eating sambal stingray?
Rhonda SG That's the best way to work sometimes, lie low, keep a low profile, do your job quietly and do it right. I hate being involved in office politics and I'm definitely no longer as ambitious as I used to be in my 20's.
the Bear SG aha.. the cult leader is in soon.. soon.. we will be sending more pics to you via the miracles of modern telecommunication technology "we" as in the pinkybear, tare, myself and maybe a few others muahahahahahaha! I AM EVIL! *munches on more jellybeans*
honeymouse SG Hello Rhonda!!!! *hugs!!!* Yes, but I don't think we can do it on 22/09 anymore as that's the Royal Melbourne Show weekend and bear's sis is planning to go with her work people. Richard and I may be going too.... I think we will have to do it in October now as my weekends for September are booked. Which weekend are you going to be off? If you're interested in joining us, we can try the weekend when you're not working. Heard you've a day off on 21/09. May be we can catch up for lunch if you're up for it.
Rhonda SG Ah well, technology isn't as advanced here and FYI, the chilli crab pics you sent to me couldn't be accessed! (*mutters under breath, "Thank God for small mercies!" ) It's weird cause I could access all the other pics sent my way but just not these! As for jellybeans, woohoo... Jelly Belly jellybeans are available here! They come pre-packaged as well as in shops where you scoop and pay by weight. I was fleeced the first time I bought my favourite 100g pre-packaged Sours from some candy shop at Crown Casino and paid bloody A$4.95 for them. Then at the IGN near my b/f's apt, it was found for just A$2.65! (Plus he paid for them! ) So, I know where to get my "free" Sours now! What's your favourite jellybelly flavour?
honeymouse SG I had a big argument with her few months ago.... and I didn't have a very good working relationship with her when she first became my PM (only 6 months ago). Anyway, she's a lot better these days (think she's just inexperience and lacking confidence and communication skills) but unfortunately she holds grudges against people whom she had an argument (including me). However, I just do my work as usual, I just want to show her that I have nothing against her personally but just the way she manages her staffs! (she yells and swears!!! always eff this and eff that)
tare SG hereditary health problems of the bear family? me eat sambal stingray risk running toilet mah i'm slight allergic to oil and chilli
Rhonda SG Oh dear! It's hard to work under managers who are petty! The majority of Team Leaders in my ward are All Talk - No Action types. Only three of them will roll up their sleeves and help you. I found out that here, talk gets you everywhere because if you work quietly, you will just disappear into the woodwork but if you always talk optimistically and appear cheerful and always say upbeat things, you'll be the apple of everyone's eyes! Better still if you pepper your sentences with 'darl' (darling) or 'luv'... they absolutely fall for you!
Rhonda SG Choi choi!! Pinky and I are bears too! I do have the rare backache now and then but it's muscular and easily rectified. All nurses have backaches to some degree anyways - occupational hazard.
Rhonda SG I had two hash browns and two large German something sausages this morning. HAD to eat the sausages before they went bad cause I'd kept them too long. I love my oven... I bake / grill a lot now cause it's pretty clean and fuss-free!
tare SG i rem when i went melbourne years back, ppl keep calling me luv... i really cannot tahan... i thot the guys trying to be funny with me
Rhonda SG I find it quite ... hypocritical. I mean, everyone is 'luv'. I'd rather call people 'mate', which is not as fake as 'luv' / 'honey' / 'darl'. I usually call my patients by their first names, but they brighten up when my colleagues come in and greet them in some exaggerated manner (like Stepford wives) and address them as 'luv'. Maybe, I might learn to take a huge breath and gulp and maybe call them 'sweet'. pukes...
